Mortgage Underwriter (Registration Required) - (Franklin, TN)

Our client, a locally owned mortgage bank, is looking for a talented Mortgage Underwriter. This person will be responsible for underwriting FHA, VA or Conventional loans. If you are a talented, hard working and experienced Underwriter this is the job for you! Qualifications: 5+ years of underwriting background in a wholesale lending or mortgage banking Current FHA DE Designation PREFERRED; VA LAPP Endorsement a bonus; SAR Designation ideal Background with multi-state underwriting Strong understanding of FHA and FNMA underwriting guidelines Strong understanding of LP and DU underwriting Time management and management skills to effectively prioritize daily workload to achieve volume goals Good knowledge of complex personal and/or business financials, but not limited to tax returns and balance sheet analysis Effective communication abilities (verbal and written)This position is will be located in Brentwood TN.
