Research Associate - (Phoenix, AZ)

The Virginia Tech Transportation Institute (VTTI) seeks a qualified, ambitious Project Associate. Successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the management of transportation safety and mobility, as well as other related automotive research and outreach projects located in the Phoenix area. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with several key domain experts to assist in coordinating all activities. The successful candidate will independently plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate detailed tasks as part of ground-breaking transportation safety and human factors engineering projects as well as administrative tasks in support of VTTI management. Candidate will contribute to research conceptualization, proposal development, resource acquisition, asset, timeline, vehicle hardware installations, research volunteer/participant management, and budget tracking.
