Temporary Food Service Worker - Purdue Dining & Catering - (West Lafayette, IN)

This temporary position will have the opportunity to provide support for a variety of areas for Purdue Dining Catering throughout campus, including student dining courts, retail dining operations and catering and events. Varying shifts available. Potential to be exposed to a variety of responsibilities. Responsibilities may include: food preparation, cooking, baking, supplying serving counters, serving, setting up for special events, supervising events as a waiter captain or acting as a server based on business need, keeping work area and equipment clean, ordering supplies, etc. Required: Stable work or education history with a good attendance record. Interpersonal competencies in communication, customer focus and teamwork. Competencies in judgment, dependability/accountability, flexibility, initiative and planning/organizing. Expertise to communicate effectively with supervisor and co-workers, perform basic math functions.
