Executive Chef 1 - (Fredericksburg, VA)

Unit Description Sodexo's School Services Division is seeking a fast paced Executive Chef for Spotsylvania County Schools located inFredericksburg, VA. Spotsylvania County Public Schools serves 30 schools and 23,000 students daily. This position would help oversee the schools with 8-10schools under their direct supervision. The applicant should have knowledge/background working with USDA guidelines and commodities. Prior K-12 background is preferred. Applicant will work with thedietitian in creating recipes and production records. Day to day, this role will be responsible for serving the National School Breakfast and Lunch Program, and overseeing cafeteria operations for up to ten schools. Specific duties will include supervising front of the house operations as well as the food production staff, purchasing and receiving food and supplies, monitoring inventory and create food related training to staff.
