Environmental Health and Safety Specialist - (Chenoa, IL)

Area Environmental Health and Safety Manager Manages and leads the EHS processes for the following facilities: Chicago Heights, IL, Fairbury, IL and Richmond, IN for continuous improvement of the environmental, health, and safety program within the plant. In addition, the role will require the individual to serve as a facilitator for required meetings and training sessions. Direct Hire Opportunity - Competitive compensation - Complete benefits Package Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The EHS Manager will serve as an EHS liaison between management staff and the hourly workforce in the daily administration of the EHS program at multiple locations. In addition, the position will require the individual to represent management during Company/Union EHS Meetings along with the other plant personnel. On a periodic basis, a formal facility EHS inspection is to be conducted in relation to applicable OSHA, EPA, ANSI and other regulatory guidelines and company best practices.
