Medical Laboratory Technician - (Franklin, NC)

Overview and Requirements:Job details: Performs both routine and complex lab analyses and/or identification procedures on blood, tissue, and body fluids with minimal supervision. Assists management in monitoring quality control data to ensure results or procedures are accurate and precise.Required Education: Associates degree in applied science or Clinical Laboratory Science from an accredited college or CLIA approved requirements to perform high complexity testing if hired before 1997.Preferred Education: Associates degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from an accredited college.Required License: ASCP Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician or registry eligible (must become certified within 1yr after employment). If certified in 2004 or after, recertification required every 3yrs.
