Commercial Underwriter II - (Fond Du Lac, WI)

Primary Purpose Develops and maintains a profitable book of business by acquiring, evaluating, and analyzing details relative to risks to make selection and pricing decisions that are consistent with Society’s underwriting philosophy and in accordance with departmental and company guidelines and standards. Required functions and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned) Determines degree of risk by evaluating renewal and new business accounts for acceptability based on profit potential, assigned underwriting authority, and company guidelines. May have sole responsibility for agencies as assigned by Underwriting management according to territory needs. Prices business by applying ability and judgment in conjunction with company guidelines, assigned underwriting authority, and underwriting decisions.
