Senior Chemist - (Lynchburg, VA)

Fleet Laboratories, a leader in innovative personal health and beauty care products, has an immediate opening for the following position at our manufacturing plant located in Lynchburg, VA. Senior Chemist - first Shift Provide technical ability and give guidance to the Quality Control (QC) staff when performing chemical analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability samples using established analytical methods, standards, and specifications. Initiate Laboratory Investigations and review and approve, if necessary. Lead training and instruction of QC personnel. Review and approval of Analytical Reports (AR) and use of BCPS and Master Control for data entry. Review stability database and update as needed. Accountabilities: Complete testing according to SOPs, test methods and cGMP requirements. Notify management of OOS test results immediately. Ensure documentation is complete and correct and all raw data maintained and calculations are completed.
