ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES for our Truck Shop Service Writer include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Good knowledge of truck parts - All Makes Retail focus – Customer Relationship Solicit sale of new or additional parts or services. Utilizes computer system for entering and updating customer orders, maintaining accurate inventory, and closing invoices to customer. Communicating with customer in person, over the phone and using electronic (web-based) tools. Handle all walk-in front counter parts sales Answer all parts phone calls Process all Customer Support and technician time accounting on a daily/ weekly basis
