Human Resources Benefits Specialist - (Grand Rapids, MI)
The Human Resources Benefits Specialist is responsible to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to assist with the various aspects of administrating Wedgwood Christian Services employee benefit plans. In addition, the benefits specialist works along side of the Human Resources Benefit Coordinator and provides occasional back-up for payroll. Summary of Key responsibilities: -Please note: This is not an exclusive list of duties. Assist with the Administration of various employee benefit programs, health and dental insurance, life and disability, flexible spending, 403(b), pension retirement program, voluntary benefits and all other employee benefits programs. Update and revise info for employees as needed. Provide benefit orientations and assist employees with the benefit enrollment process. Communicate regularly with benefit vendors concerning employee questions and concerns to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner. Assist with maintaining the HRIS systems.
