Water System Maintenance Operator - (Bay City, MI)

WATER SYSTEM MAINTENANCE/DISTRIBUTION POSITION Seeking a responsible, dependable and highly motivated person with a mechanical experience/mindset to help maintain a 50 mi long municipal pipeline, pumps, and other mechanical equipment. Experience in either municipal water/wastewater maintenance, excavation contracting, or mechanical contracting/ maintenance. Fabrication, machining, welding experience a plus. Must be computer literate and able to read blueprints, work autonomously, exercise good judgment, and take the initiative. Must be physically capable of heavy lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces. Applicant must either hold a MDEQ Limited Treatment (D1) license or be capable of obtaining the license after training. Must possess a valid unrestricted motor vehicle operator's license with a good safe driving history. High-school diploma or G.E.D. required. Competitive starting pay ranging from $47,000 to $60,000 depending on experience, plus great benefits.
