Position summary Position title: Production Team Leader Reports To: Production Group Leader Location: Niles, Michigan Department: Production Employees Supervised: Salary Roles-Process Improvers (Engineers), Hourly Roles- Process Technicians, Production Associates Primary Duties: --- Works in compliance with all safety rules and regulations. --- Ensure the safety of all assigned employees through training and enforcement of all company safety guidelines. --- Ensure 5S, Housekeeping and Workplace Organization meets NSG Standards. --- Develop, Plan and Coordinate production employee activities related to producing the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost using the PDCA approach. --- Manage product quality to meet or exceed internal and external customer specifications. --- Develops both internal and external programs to meet or exceed customer expectations through continually improving products, processes and services.
