Individual Medical and Group Insurance Specialist - (Cedar Rapids, IA)

Benefit Solutions, Inc., a growing Cedar Rapids employee benefits consulting firm, is seeking a highly motivated, qualified and personable individual to join our service team as an Insurance Specialist. The Insurance Specialist job assignments will include (but not be limited to): --Resolve day to day service, claims and billing issues for individual medical and small group clients. --Assist with routine data entry. --Process new individual medical applications. Follow-up on status of these applications. --Assemble marketing and renewal kits for clients and assist with other special agency projects as needed. Skills/Requirements: The perfect candidate will have a 2yr degree or relevant insurance background, good communication expertise, and be proficient in Microsoft office suite (Outlook, Ms word and Microsoft excel). Candidate must also be willing to become life/health insurance licensed. Prior background with individual medical, Medicare supplements or group benefits is a PLUS!
