JOB DESCRIPTION As a receptionist, incumbent will answer telephones and refer callers as appropriate, or provide personnel info. Greet all incoming visitors, candidates, and employees and assist as needed. The Receptionist has frontline responsibility for handling customer service interactions, primarily through telephone and personal contact with both internal and external customers. In this capacity, the function of receptionist is also incorporated to include daily operational tasks, computerized record-keeping, filing, and general office management activities. CRITICAL RESPONSIBILITIES Greets and directs visitors to the company. Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate associate. Will transfer a caller to an associate's voice mailbox when the associate is unavailable. Takes and retrieves messages for various personnel. Receives, sorts and forwards incoming mail. Maintains and routes publications.
