Technical Writer - (Rockford, IL)

Aerotek is looking for a skilled Technical Writer to place onsite with a client in Rockford, IL. This Technical Writer will be responsible for developing manuals and other technical publications for release to customers. This Technical Writer will be involved in working with contracts, helping to make sure qualifications are described accurately with regards to technical publications, working with internal resources to track and find details, and developing technical manuals and resources for customers. Qualifications 3+ years of Technical Publications experience 3+ years experience working with cross functional teams in support of a product development life cycle 3-5+ years of experience working at an intermediate to expert level in Word Understanding of technical documents, engineering prints, and understanding of graphics included in typical technical publications *Must be able to pass an intermediate Microsoft skills test* There are 2 total positions with our customer that offer an immediate interview
