Analyst, Order Management Support & Trouble Reporting/ Analytics - (New York, NY)

Job Overview: This Analyst position reports into the MIO department at Macys. MIO, which stands for the Merchandise Info Office, is responsible for supporting the buyers and planners (merchants) at Macys, as well as other cross-functional partners, including Stores Operations, Shortage Control, A/P, Private Label brands, distribution warehouses, and vendors. Because MIO oversees and owns many enterprise systems used by Macys buyers and planners, it is usually the primary contact for trouble resolution as it relates to merchandise setup and maintenance, pricing, signing, receiving and many others. Objective of this Analyst position is to support the Order Management systems, which are utilized by buyers & planners to create and transmit purchase orders to vendors. Analyst is also responsible for supporting the creation and analysis of trend reports, in order to identify areas of opportunities within the Order Management and Trouble Resolution processes.
