Buyer, Critical Materials - (Visalia, CA)

Description The Buyer, Critical Materials is responsible for purchasing Customer Critical Materials including chemicals, equipment, and consumable supplies for key customers with special requirements. The buyer is responsible for all aspects of daily order management of these materials including procuring, planning, and expediting. The Buyer collaborates with the sales team and customers to insure we have the correct products in the correct quantities to meet all customer requirements for their critical materials. Buyer supports all new business stocking requests from sales team. Following corporate DOA for purchases, the Buyer exercises considerable latitude in determining when to commit VWR financial resources. Buyers must use sound judgment in determining immediate objectives and prioritizing workload and be able to solve complex problems with innovation and ingenuity.
