Production Planner and Scheduler - (Perth Amboy, NJ)

New Jersey chemicals manufacturing company needs a Production Planner / Scheduler to develop production schedules, and establish sequences and lead times. Will set up the master schedule for manufacturing. Analyze machinery and labor capacity data to determine processes, level loading, with input from plant managers. Work together with the Supply Chain & Logistics Manager. Schedule work orders, and develop their sequence, according to historical details about lead times and manufacturing sequences. Work on bulk logistics, including shipping/receiving of raw materials and finished goods, inventory control, and production planning. Alter schedules if there are delays involving production machinery, materials, or personnel.
