Overview The Transport Network Assurance organization is dedicated to improving the transport optical network. In this position you will provide sustained engineering for the transport network engineering teams and support the Transport Network Operations Repair team as needed. Responsibilities: Configure transport network services from the ground up on transport network elements without assistance Engage engineering and operations teams within Windstream on a peer to peer basis and work issues to resolution Support for the Transport Network Operations team from a troubleshooting and engineering standpoint Awareness for network changes Work together with Transport Operations to specifically address the technical challenges encountered within the Optical network Customer interaction will be required at times Create method of procedures and implement maintenance activities when needed Develop new and better methods to deliver our products with max efficiency and reliability Work directly with vendors for
