Field Service Technician - Simpsonville - (Simpsonville, SC)

DESCRIPTION The responsibilities of the Field Service Technician include but are not limited to: Performing mechanical duties with min or no supervision in the field on all types of equipment with the abiliity to apply troubleshooting techniques and determine repairs necessary on all assigned work orders. Disassemble, inspect, determine parts needed and reassemble to factory specifications. Perform operational tests on assigned equipment. Interpreting and utilizing info from operating, maintenance and service manuals/bulletins. Preparing and maintain parts requisitions, time records and parts returns as well as other necessary reports and forms. Maintaining the service truck and equipment carried on the service truck. REQUIREMENTS Min of 3yrs background working on heavy equipment is required. Must have a complete set of tools capable of working on heavy equipment. Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and proper repair procedures is required.
