Director of Operations - Sheet Metal Manufacturing REQUIRED Salary: $120,000 - $170,000 Position reports to the VP and GM of a division with $150 million in sales. The Director of Operations manages 2 factories employing 750. The Director is responsible for the division's strategy, growth and profitability at the 2 facilities. Functional reports represent the following areas: Plant Mgmt., Support Services [sheet metal, woodshop, paint], Sub-Assembly, Production [Fabrication, Refrigeration, Electrical and Final Assembly], Capital Equipment, Facilities, Workforce Planning and Development, Supply Chain and Strategy Deployment. The Director leads the plant in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, on-time delivery, and Lean directives as set forth by the Business Plan. In this function the Director will need to be part of creating, communicating, supporting and owning the vision and goals of the business. Applicants must have a BS/BA in Engineering, Business or related. MBA preferred.
