Microbiologist Job - (Garden City, NY)

Responsible of implementation and development of Microbiological Program in the Company. Duties & Responsibilities: ? Check all incoming raw materials following procedure SEV 113 (Receiving of raw materials) ? Collect samples of finished products that require microbiological analysis. * ? Follow sampling schedule and collect samples of raw materials * ? Perform log entrance of all samples tested. * ? Perform microbiological analyses. * ? Read and report analysis. * ? Perform environmental samples for TPC, Yeast/Molds * ? Take samples and perform analysis for Listeria environmental sampling. * ? Prepare samples to send to 3rd party lab when required. * ? Perform test on environmental samples taken from food contact surfaces. * ? Help with QA duties in the event that the department is short of staff
