Associate Scientist - (Columbia, MD)

Aerotek is currently hiring for an Associate Scientist with a min of 2 yrs of molecular/microbiological research background. The Associate Scientist will be responsible for assisting in the molecular engineering of micro-algae. Techniques may include microbial culture, gene cloning and expression, transformation, PCR, gel electrophoresis, and various blotting procedures well as support general operations of the laboratory. On the Microbiology Side: Make, grow, and prepare media. Select DNA and grow and streak it.
