Competitive Cedartown manufacturer of structural rack and industrial storage systems is hiring experienced Painters to join their team. They are looking for painters who can operate spray painting equipment to apply protective coatings and paints to fabricated structural steel material. -Prepare, set up, and test all paint spraying equipment prior to use to make sure all equipment is in working order. -Surface preparation to abrasive blasting standards. -Apply surface materials when required to fill any surface imperfections. Inspect surface condition of substrate prior to coating and report any irregularities to immediate supervisor. Select and use various types of hand tools, abrasive sandpapers, and grinders. Understand and be able to recognize surfaces for painting readiness including the presence of grit. -Prepare and mix coating materials in accordance with coating manufacturer's specifications.
