Experienced Consumer Financial Services Regulatory Attorney - (Washington, DC)

McGlinchey Stafford seeks to hire an experienced regulatory attorney with 10-20yrs of financial services regulatory background to join our Consumer Finance Compliance practice group. Applicants must have solid background in 1 or more of the following areas: mortgage lending, mortgage servicing, personal property finance, open-end credit, payment processing, direct lending, and/or data security and privacy, including background with regulatory and compliance matters at a state and/or federal level. Ideal applicants will be a subject matter expert in the relevant practice area(s). Applicants must have excellent academic credentials, strong writing and research abilities, as well as a thorough understanding of the substantive qualifications of relevant federal law including, but not limited to, TILA, RESPA, ECOA, FCRA and FDCPA.
