Commercial Lines Underwriting Intern - Summer - (West Bend, WI)

This internship is for college students who desire to have a career in the insurance industry. As an Underwriting Intern, we will expose you to other functional areas within our organization including Claims, Loss Prevention, Sales, Marketing, Actuarial, Reinsurance, etc. In addition, you will job shadow with experienced commercial lines underwriters from time to time. A mentor will help answer your questions and provide additional insights into our culture. Classroom and self-study is required, but a majority of the time you will be working on various projects that directly affect commercial lines underwriting.Background and Skills Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related position, preferably Insurance or Business Intermediate knowledge of personal computers Exceptional communication abilities Expertise to contribute in a team environment Strong work ethic
