Summary: A Performing Loan Collector is a seasoned collector who is responsible for initial collections on new portfolios in order to maximize recovery and disposition loans to the appropriate work out strategy. Responsibilities: Receive and review loan details Contact borrowers in order to cure delinquency, setup payment arrangements and/or settle accounts Identify and recommend optimal workout strategies based on individual borrower circumstances Identify and recommend legal strategies as necessary Increase frequency of borrower contact based on days since last payment Review accounts in Bankruptcy status; contact the Trustee or the Debtor---s Attorney as appropriate if payments are not made in accordance with the planQualifications/Skills: Background in collections preferred Familiarity with tracking databases and the maneuvering around the Internet Familiarity with loan terminology, rights, and processes Excellent work ethic, high productivity
