Linux and Windows Web Server Administrator - (Davidson, NC)

SLAIT Consulting is currently seeking a Linux and Windows Web Server Administrator for a short term project with our client in the Davidson, North Carolina area. SUMMARY: This project will last in estimated 90-120 days. This administrator will perform system administration functions including providing support for operating systems and Web server/middleware tiers in a heavily virtualized Windows and Linux server environment. This position will have sole responsibility for several Windows/IIS server environments supporting key campus production services including Moodle learning management system, WordPress publishing environment, and CMS/public web servers, along with several other server environments. During this engagement, this resource will perform analysis on the application/hosting environments and, where appropriate, propose and implement transition to Linux/Apache or other alternative hosting environments, as warranted.
