Intern Architect - (West Des Moines, IA)

Shive-Hattery has an immediate opening in our contemporary West Des Moines office for an Intern Architect with 1 to 5 years of professional expertise. Candidate will be working in a collaborative team based environment. Under the direction of the Group Leader this Professional position performs a variety of duties related to several project types. This position involves knowledge based background associated with the delivery of architectural design services. Participation in applicable AIA, NCARB, and/or community activities is preferred. As a team player this job requires close work with mid-level architects to plan and develop A/E projects. This position involves exploration of healthcare, education, industrial, commercial, public safety, justice, and government project types. Candidate must communicate clearly with individuals and teams within or outside Shive-Hattery. This candidate must be able to focus on providing a support role to retain and grow existing clients.
