The Senior Test Engineer --- Test Lead will be responsible for the testing and validation of APCON---s industry leading suite of network monitoring solutions. Responsible for testing and validation of APCON---s industry leading suite of network monitoring solutions. Lead medium sized validation projects within Apcon Quality department. Develop new test coverage for features, configurations and customer topologies. Advocate, and drive new testing practices, concepts and processes to continuously improve Quality. Assist development team for bug fixes, bug isolation, and resolution. Be a relentless advocate for Quality at APCON. Excellent knowledge of IP networking and switching architectures. 10+ years of hands-on background testing software and solutions. Background in formal quality assurance/system testing methodologies, including software engineering cycles, testing processes and standards. Prefer Python automation background. Prefer background with traffic generation devices like Spirent TestCenter.
