Buyer / Planner - (Redwood City, CA)

POSITION OVERVIEW The person in this position is primarily responsible for planning and purchasing production components using the ERP system. They will ensure proper use of planning & purchasing related fields in the Item Master files of the ERP system to ensure that material requirements are properly planned. They will monitor the flow of materials from Nevro---s supply base to the Finished Goods packagers to ensure that appropriate levels of inventory are maintained and that the production schedule is properly supported with the necessary components. Responsibilities:ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain MRP-relevant master data in the ERP system. Use the ERP system---s MRP functionality to plan, purchase and maintain proper inventory levels of purchased parts at external supplier sites. Generate monthly supplier schedules/forecasts and disseminate to all relevant suppliers.
