Columbus McKinnon CorporationLocation: Chattanooga, TN (no relocation) Role Summary: Performs maintenance work with the degree of skill of a Millwright; highly skilled in mechanical, electrical, air, and hydraulic systems. Requires minimal supervisor. Performs tasks as assigned by schedule looking for better solutions to fixes and safer ways to complete jobs. Key Accountabilities: Performs tasks assigned by supervisor based on talent and different projects. Root cause analysis of ongoing, frequent, and costly issues using machine autopsy process. Responsible for the repair of any existing equipment, installation of new equipment or new parts on existing equipment. Perform general welding including brazing and cutting of complex shapes with cutting torch. Perform a variety of repair work such as assisting in furnace and induction coil repairs, machine fixtures and components repairs.
