Direct Support Caregiver Primary Location: United States-IA-IAMarshalltown Function: Direct Support Professional (Care Givers) Organization: Redwood Description Come join REM Iowa in the very important work we do supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, brain injury and emotional, behavioral or medical complexities. Our team is fun, creative, and dedicated to making a difference every day in the lives of the people we serve. REM Iowa is seeking Direct Support Professionals to work Monday-Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm to provide assistance to individuals in services. DSPs provide assistance with building employment skills such as punctuality, workplace behavior, time management, self-control, stress management, using public transportation and personal hygiene. In addition, DSPs support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff to enhance the quality of life for those we support.
