The Southeast Alternative School, a Justice Resource Institute program, is a private special education day school for adolescent students ages 10-22 who are academically at-risk due to primary social, emotional or behavioral challenges. SAS offers students a supportive environment that addresses their education, clinical, pre-vocational, recreational and behavioral needs. Individual, group, and milieu counseling are provided The school operates as an extended year, 11 mon academic program, with an optional summer program. Certified special education teachers provide students with a curriculum that is aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Framework. Our progam is seeking a highly organized and professional applicant to serve as a Special Education Math Teacher with background in teaching middle/high-school level Math courses. The perfect candidate will have the expertise to manage student behaviors consistently and in a clinically appropriate manner while maintaining a learning environment.
