Field Service/Support Engineer II (Bay - (San Francisco, CA)

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our Instrument Service group to perform field service of the nCounter Digital Analyzers and Prep Stations. The Digital Analyzer is a state-of-the-art automated high resolution imaging system and the Prep Station is a multi-channel liquid handling robot utilized in sample preparation. The person in this role will be trained as a Tier one Field Service Engineer which includes up to 75% travel throughout North America, and on occasion Europe, and AsiaResponsibilities: Install instrumentation in both research and medical diagnostic laboratories in accordance with IQ/OQ/PQ procedures Perform annual preventative maintenance procedures on systems installed at customer sites Document all activities and updating/maintaining instrument configuration databases in compliance with all Quality Assurance procedures Interface with the commercial team and NanoString customers directly when performing instrument service and technical support Communicate service
