Surface Water Intern II - (Irvine, CA)

Michael Baker International, seeks an Intern II to join our Surface Water group in our Irvine, CA office. The Intern will be a design team player involved in the preparation of hydrology, and hydraulic studies; flood control projects, storm drain system design, and BMP design and analysis. Other tasks may include field work and report writing. Tasks assigned may require working as part of a team or working individually, and occasional overtime. Qualifications: --- Applicant must be enrolled and pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering at an accredited university or college. --- Min of 2 yrs of completed post-secondary coursework in student---s field of study. --- Min 2.5 overall GPA on a 4.0 scale. --- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft office suite. --- Background with GIS --- Background with Hydrology and/or Hydraulics Programs
