SUMMARY The Technical Manager will assist theTeam Senior Technical Manager in overseeing the day-to-day activities of theNot-for-Profit Membership Section (NFP Section), Not-for-Profit Expert Paneland various other team projects. The Technical Manager promotes quality innot-for-profit accounting, tax, auditing and governance by keeping AICPAmembers of the AICPA NFP Section informed of current developments anddeveloping (or participating in the development of) technical not-for-profitproducts and services. The Technical Manager assists in managing the volunteerswho serve the NFP Section and the AICPA Not-for-Profit Expert Panel.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-- Maintainan in-depth knowledge of the technical aspects of generally accepted accountingprinciples (GAAP) for not-for-profit entities, taxation and regulatory issuesfor exempt organizations
