Laboratory Equipment Engineer Amyris is seeking a Laboratory Equipment Engineer to maintaining laboratory equipment and assisting facilities teammates as needed with general facilities tasks. This position is located in Emeryville, CA. Responsibilities * Ideal candidates will have detailed knowledge of scheduled, preventive and breakdown maintenance of lab equipment * Understand and follow instructions of a technical nature to troubleshoot problems on a variety of equipment under minimal supervision * Expertise to use wide variety of tools in performing repairs and maintenance of Laboratory equipment * Expertise to read and understand technical materials related to Laboratory equipment repair and operation * Work on assignments that are complex in nature where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations * Must be able to understand and write SOP's as required to perform duties related to this position
