Organics Extraction Laboratory Technician - (Dayville, CT)

We are seeking an Organics Extraction Technician / Laboratory Technician, for an entry level, full time position within a high energy, high volume environmental testing laboratory located in Dayville, CT. Position will be responsible for sample preparation for a variety of different environmental sample types. On the job training available. High-school degree required, as is a min of 2 (2) semesters of college science course credits. MAJOR/REQUIRED FUNCTIONS: Following established SOP---s, Laboratory Technicians support laboratory staff through the execution of various laboratory duties, resulting in the timely and accurate reporting of data. Prepare environmental test samples for analysis. REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES: Sample receipt, login, storage and disposal.
