Associate Director, Laboratory Animal Vivarium Operations - (Cambridge, MA)

NIBR-Cambridge Laboratory Animal Services (LAS) is seeking an Associate Director, Vivarium Operations (VO) reporting to the Director, NIBR-Cambridge LAS, for its multi-research discipline, multi-building, approx 100,000 sq. feet, AAALACi-accredited, predominantly rodent (mice, rat, guinea pig) & rabbit, early discovery (non-GLP) research program. As the Associate Director of LAS VO, core responsibilities include: --- Managerial oversight for approx thirty (30) associate & supervisory staff. --- Ensure maintenance & future development of VO programs to continually align service portfolio to meet needs of evolving NIBR-Cambridge in vivo research community. --- Continually evolve the campus vivaria to meet changing research needs (strategic vision and execution of animal facilities design, infrastructure and renovations). --- Ensure VO alignment with other core LAS services (Veterinary Services & Technical Services) and Scientific Operations.
