Medical Laboratory Scientist - (Pueblo, CO)

Responsible for processing specimens; performing tests, quality assurance, and instrument maintenance; and reporting results in the Core Lab, Microbiology, and/or Blood Bank. Bachelors Degree in a related laboratory discipline required. Clinical Laboratory Specialist (CLS) with the National credential Agency for Laboratory Personnel (NCA); or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) registered with the American Society of Clinical Pathologist (ASCP) required. ASCP or NCA required within 90 days of graduation date. Students who have fulfilled the Bachelor's degree requirement must also have successfully completed a NAACLS accredited CLS, or MLS Program. Medical Laboratory Science or Life Science Bachelor's Degree preferred. 2 Years clinical laboratory background wanted. 07/13
