Environmental Engineer/Scientist 2/3 - (Baltimore, MD)

Northrop Grumman Missions Systems sector is seeking an EHS Engineer/Scientist to support sector-wide environmental compliance and due diligence programs. This position will be located in Baltimore, MD. Key roles and assignments include: • Reviews and interprets existing and proposed EHS regulations to determine applicability and impact for sector sites. Assists with implementation of programs to comply. • Partners with business leaders to continuously improve the culture, awareness and accountability in support of EHS programs. • Manages due diligence activities, including 3rd-party Phase I Environmental Assessments. • Oversees the activities of 3rd party consultants and contractors. • Reviews EHS elements of leases. • Implements EHS management systems sector-level programs and associated documentation. Additional roles and responsibilities may include: • Serves as liaison with regulatory agencies.
