Title: Senior Accountant Schedule: Active Full-time Shift: 1 1st Shift Days Hours: 40 Hours (8a-4:30p) Position description: Applies principles of accounting in order to maintain the Health Systems general and plant ledgers. Prepare and analyze complex accounting statements, which are used by the Board of Trustees, Senior Management and Financial Analysis Team. Analyze reports, perform highly technical studies and make recommendations relative to accounting reserves, assets and other activities in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles and concepts normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in accounting. 3 to 5 yrs of Health Care experience preferred. Work requires the analytical expertise to collect info from various sources, apply professional principals in performing various analyses and summarize the details and data in order to solve problems independently.
