GCS, Inc. has an exciting opening for an Auditor/Accounting Specialist to support our DoD client in Tyson’s Corner, VA! This position will assist in leveraging public sector and government financial management ability to help analyze the current Financial Management Structure, develop financial management improvements, and support audibility oversight. Position details: * Develop and maintain a financial statements oversight plan and reporting tool for the IC components that identifies the key milestones, critical pathways, and timeframes for all IC components to obtain an unqualified audit opinion on financial statements * Develop for publication financial management policies and procedures for the IC; to include IC-wide financial management efforts, standardization of accounting codes and practices
