Job overview:Job Description Responsibilities: * Providing leadership and technical ability that drive Continuous Improvement in production finishing operations; * Leading the development and qualification of new finishes; * Providing technical training to manufacturing leadership and associates; * Networking with finish specialists throughout the corporation; * Managing the projects executed by the finish suppliers; * Identifying, establishing, and translating best practices within the plant and between other facilities. Education: 4-year degree is required; Operations, Industrial Management, Mechanical/Industrial/Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines preferred. Key skills: * 3+ years of industrial finishing background in a high production facility; * 6 Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus; * Proven driver of continuous improvement in a manufacturing process; * Strong issue solving, teamwork facilitation, and communication expertise; * Ability to travel up to 20%.
