Jobs in this category are responsible for performing general and preventative maintenance for equipment, machinery, structures and grounds and assists skilled maintenance personnel with more complex repairs throughout the Distribution Center. * Maintains, changes, and fees batteries for powered equipment to ensure efficient workflow * Operates heavy grounds keeping equipment and snowplows to maintain grounds * Paints, plasters, and performs other building maintenance functions, including plumbing and carpentry in order to maintain and repair facilities * Completes minor and routine maintenance, such as changing light bulbs, and assists skilled maintenance personnel with more complex repairs or maintenance, such as repairing light fixtures and all other maintenance responsibilities * Assists with preventative maintenance to ensure the proper function of distribution center equipment * Performs other duties as assigned * Basic reading
