What You Will Be Doing The Major Gifts Officer is a permanent full time exempt staff position that is responsible for the major gift program, including cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gift prospects directly or through other staff or volunteers as deemed appropriate. Requires extensive travel, up to 50 percent of the time. PRIMARY DUTIES: •Responsible for soliciting gifts of $10,000 and higher from patrons, community members and those who care deeply about the western art and culture •Identifies, qualifies, and manages a portfolio of at least 100 prospective donors
