Kelly Legal Managed Services (KLMS) is currently seeking an experienced IP Paralegal/Legal Assistant to work a longterm temporary position with 1 of our top clients in Baytown, TX. IP Paralegal/Legal Assistant Responsibilities: Support 2-3 attorneys Preparation of patent and/or trademark applications for filing with the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) Preparation of patent and/or trademark applications for filing in foreign countries Interact with inventors to obtain necessary info and documents related to patent applications Interact with outside counsel as needed Responsible for patent and/or trademark docket deadlines, monthly docket meetings and related coordination with attorneys and staff Develop and generate reports related to US and foreign patent and/or trademark portfolios (e.g. foreign filing reports, base case filing reports, patent portfolio reports).
