Corporate Purchasing Manager - (Lansing, MI)

SUMMARY: The Corporate Purchasing Manager is responsible for a team of Supply Chain professionals across all Spartans locations while supporting Spartans Executive Management Team achieve overall company goals and objectives. The Corporate Purchasing Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing supplier and product value stream improvement initiatives with assigned suppliers. The Corporate Purchasing Manager leads all strategic sourcing activities, cost targeting, supplier performance metrics, supplier development, and VA/VE initiatives. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: • Support Spartans Executive Management Team achieve company goals and objectives • Lead supplier risk assessment and implement reporting structure • Responsible for implementing LTA (Longterm Supplier Agreement) • Execute supplier consolidation initiatives across all Spartans locations • Lead and manage a team of Supply Chain professionals across all Spartans locations
