Weill Cornell Medicine Major Gifts External Affairs Weill Cornell Medicine seeks a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, reporting to the Senior Principal Gifts Officer, to undertake campaign and departmental fundraising activities in support of Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM). Working with department chairmen, faculty, senior administrators, and volunteers, the Major Gifts Officer is responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding prospects and donors at the level of $100,000 and above. Min Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Three to 5 yrs of direct fundraising background, preferably in an academic/medical setting or comparable environment Highly Desired Qualifications Background with fundraising database programs such as BBEC, Raiser's Edge and BENefactor Advanced degree Skill and Abilities Knowledge of and background with all facets of the development field, especially major and/or capital fundraising
